Teacher salaries and the resonance they create in society have been one of the main topics of discussion for years, causing heated debates on a new level every time.
The teacher certification process, implemented since 2022, activated a differentiation mechanism in this field: a 10% increase was added to the salaries of those who scored above 30 points in the exam, and a 35% increase for those who scored 51 points or more.
Despite all these stimulating steps, we still frequently encounter complaints about teachers' financial situation and earnings on social networks.
How much should the average teacher's salary be?
AzEdu.az Education Portal conducted a survey among residents of the capital to find an answer to this question and to learn the public's attitude towards the topic.
