From unsuccessful student to the top: Admitted to medical faculty with first place

Yasin Kirazcı, who lives in Çanakkale, Turkey, stated that he was not a successful student in his educational life and for this reason, he did not take the university entrance exam (YKS) for the first time.

AzEdu.az reports, citing Turkish media, that after graduating from the Medical Vocational High School, he succeeded in the KPSS exam and started working as a medical laboratory technician at the Bozcaada Public Health Center.

During his work, Kirazcı, who developed an interest in medicine, decided to change his life and started preparing for YKS. He worked and intensively prepared for the exam for two years. He stated that during the period when he worked only 8 days a month, he devoted the rest of his time entirely to education.

As a result of his hard work, Kirazcı was admitted to the medical faculty with first place and then continued his education while also continuing his work life in parallel.

Currently working as a practical doctor in the Emergency Department of Ezine State Hospital, Kirazcı also stated that they are three brothers and all of them entered medical faculty in the same period.

Yasin Kirazcı also gave a message to young people preparing for the YKS exam, emphasizing that perseverance and dedication are the key to every success:

“There is nothing they cannot achieve as long as they work and make the necessary sacrifices.”
