Only a few days are left until the second master's exam. Although one person scored 96 points in the first exam, showing a high result, participants reported that the exam was difficult.
It is interesting, which repetition method should be preferred 10 days before the exam? In general, how should the preparation system be organized during this period, and which topics should be given more serious attention? What should be a successful repetition strategy when there is little time left for the exam?
Rashadat Sharifov, director of the master's preparation course, gave a statement to AzEdu.az on the topic.
He stated that if students choose the right preparation strategy in the last 10 days before the exam, they can significantly increase their results:
“Considering that 23 thousand students participated in the first exam, the fact that some of them scored high does not mean that the exam was easy in general.
At the same time, students should not be complacent that if there were many time-consuming questions in the first exam, everything will be easy in the second exam. Usually, the difficulty level of questions in the second exams is close to the first exam to maintain the overall balance.”
In recent days, the main focus should be on mock exams:
“If students pay attention to these points 10 days before the exam, they can significantly increase their scores. I always tell my students that mock exams are as important as, perhaps even more important than, topics. They should try not to get lost in any topic during these few days. This can do more harm than good.
In the last few days, they can work on more general review questions. In the last 4-5 days, it is advisable to work on at least one mock exam every day. These tests should be solved not in a relaxed manner, but within the time frame corresponding to the real exam time. Because in the exam, in addition to knowledge, managing time correctly is also very important.
In short, there is no need for panic in the last 10 days. Studying until morning is not the right approach. Rest is also very important. Repeating topics in a planned manner, and working on mock exams by creating a real exam environment and excitement can significantly increase students' results.”
