The list of the best schools in the republic for the East Zangezur region has been announced.
According to information obtained by AzEdu.az, this was reported in the 12th issue of the “Abituriyent” journal, which contains scientific and statistical materials on the results of student admissions and graduation exams for general education institutions for 2025.
In Jabrayil district, 662 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 661 of them participated in the graduation exam. 75 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 30 who scored above 600. Among the good schools in the republic, School No. 7 and Sirik village full secondary schools named after A. Veysalov were included. Among the best schools in the district, Boyuk Marjanli village full secondary school named after K. Mammadov was listed.
In Kalbajar district, 1112 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 1108 of them participated in the graduation exam. 90 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 29 who scored above 600. Among the good schools in the republic, full secondary school No. 56 was included. Among the best schools in the district, full secondary schools No. 18, 126, and 128 were noted.
In Gubadli district, 788 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and all of them participated in the graduation exam. 101 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 32 who scored above 600. Among the good schools in the republic, Mardanli village named after Jalal Hashimov, Garalar village named after F. Mehdiyev, Gazyian village named after A. Aliyev, Farjan village named after Baba Mammadov, Hal village named after Miragha Aliyev, Dondarli village named after Nadir Arshadli, and Chardakhli village full secondary schools named after Ch. Guliyev were included.
In Lachin district, 1052 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 1046 of them participated in the graduation exam. 105 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 35 who scored above 600. Among the good schools in the republic, Kamalli village, full secondary schools No. 11, 28, 32, 45, and 46 were included.
In Zangilan district, 478 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 474 of them participated in the graduation exam. 45 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 14 who scored above 600. Among the good schools in the republic, full secondary schools No. 5, 26, and 28 were included.
The data shows that Lachin district (105 people) ranked first in the number of graduates who scored above 500 in the East Zangezur economic region. It was followed by Gubadli (101 people), Kalbajar (90 people), Jabrayil (75 people), and Zangilan (45 people) districts. Schools in all districts of the region were included in the list of the best schools in the republic. The highest number of graduates who scored above 600 was recorded in Lachin district (35 people).
