Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality of Turkey will reward 11 students who scored a perfect 500 in the High School Entrance Exam (LGS) and became among the top students in Turkey with full gold and a trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to information obtained by AzEdu.az from Turkish media, based on the 2026 LGS results announced by the Ministry of National Education, 452 students across Turkey answered all questions correctly and scored 500 points. 11 of them are from Gaziantep.
Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin congratulated the successful students and their families within the framework of traditional home visits and presented them with full gold.
Within the framework of the Municipality's "Education Friendly Gaziantep" project, in addition to the gold award, the students will also visit Bosnia and Herzegovina. Within the scope of the program, they will visit historical and cultural sites such as Sarajevo, Mostar, and Blagaj.
The aim of the project is to contribute to increasing students' knowledge of history and culture, as well as to encourage academic success.
