The higher education institutions where applicants from the Lankaran-Astara region were most frequently admitted have been announced.
According to information obtained by AzEdu.az, this was reported in the 12th issue of the “Abituriyent” journal, which contains scientific and statistical materials on student admissions for 2025 and the results of graduation exams for general education institutions.
Based on the results of admission exams for Astara district, 308 graduates gained student status. The most frequently chosen higher education institution by district applicants was Lankaran State University.
Based on the results of admission exams for Jalilabad district, 536 graduates gained student status. The most frequently chosen higher education institutions by applicants were Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, and Lankaran State University.
Based on the results of admission exams for Lerik district, 119 graduates gained student status. The most frequently chosen higher education institutions by district applicants were Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University and Lankaran State University.
Based on the results of admission exams for Lankaran district, 740 graduates gained student status. The most frequently chosen higher education institution by district applicants was Lankaran State University.
Based on the results of admission exams for Masally district, 579 graduates gained student status. The most frequently chosen higher education institutions by applicants were Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, and Lankaran State University.
Based on the results of admission exams for Yardimli district, 138 graduates gained student status. The most frequently chosen higher education institutions by district applicants were Azerbaijan State University of Economics and Lankaran State University.
The information shows that the most frequently chosen higher education institutions by applicants from the Lankaran-Astara economic region were Lankaran State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, and Baku State University. In most districts of the region, Lankaran State University was among the main choices for applicants. While Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, and Lankaran State University came to the forefront in Jalilabad and Masally, Azerbaijan State University of Economics was also among the most chosen higher education institutions in Yardimli.
