Scientists have found an early sign of brain aging

Scientists have announced the results of an important study on brain aging and the early detection of Alzheimer's disease.

AzEdu.az reports that before memory impairments occur, the brain's ability to adapt to new information and reform neural connections begins to weaken. According to experts, these changes could be used as one of the first warning signs of Alzheimer's disease in the future.

The study authors state that evaluating the brain's adaptability can enable early diagnosis of the disease, helping to start treatment more timely. This is of great importance both for preserving the quality of life of patients and for developing new treatment methods.

Scientists note that more extensive research is needed to confirm the obtained results. Nevertheless, the study is considered a promising step towards the early detection of Alzheimer's disease.
