By the decision of the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated January 22, 2026, Alakbarli Sugra Alakbar qizi was awarded the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology.

Sugra Alakbarli was born on January 9, 1996, in Baku.
Alakbarli Sugra completed her secondary education in 2000-2011. In 2011-2015, she completed her bachelor's degree in "Teaching Azerbaijani Language and Literature" at the Faculty of Philology of Baku State University, and in 2015-2017, she completed her master's degree in "Methodology and Methods of Teaching Azerbaijani Language" with honors at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. In 2018-2025, she completed her doctoral studies in "Azerbaijani Literature" at Azerbaijan University of Languages.
Alakbarli Sugra is the author of more than 30 scientific articles and has participated in more than 10 republican and international conferences. She also holds certificates for local and international training.
She began her career in 2017 as a researcher and teacher at Azerbaijan University of Languages, and in various years she also worked as a teacher at the Azerbaijan Academy of Labor and Social Relations. Currently, she works as a teacher at the "Azerbaijani Literature" department of Azerbaijan University of Languages and as a senior lecturer at the "Azerbaijani Language and Literature" department of Baku Girls' University.
