Group III specialties: specialties with the most job opportunities ANNOUNCED

Applicants who chose the II and III specialty groups already know their total scores and have started thinking about specialty selection.

However, many graduates are still confused and cannot decide which specialty to prefer. One of the issues that most interests applicants is which areas are more promising in the III specialty group.

It is interesting, which specialties see more demand in the labor market, have wide job opportunities in the future, and promise higher career prospects to their graduates?

Education expert Elchin Afandi, who gave a statement to AzEdu.az on the topic, noted that the number of people registered for the second attempt shows that if the results improve, the competition will still be intense:

"There are 4 applicants who showed maximum results in the exam held on May 24. In addition, the number of applicants who scored high, i.e., achieved results above 300 points, is also quite large.

Overall, of course, these are still the results of the first attempt. We also predict that the situation will change after the second attempt. Because if 28 thousand people participated in the first attempt for the III specialty group, approximately 23 thousand of them registered for the second attempt. At the same time, if there were more than 28 thousand 500 participants in the II specialty group, approximately 20 thousand of them, if I am not mistaken, registered to participate in the second attempt.

Of course, the number of these participants is more than the number of actual plan places, and this gives reason to say that if they can improve their results in the second attempt, the competition will still be intense."

The expert stated that Group II applicants should take into account the demands of the labor market when making their choice:

"As for promising specialties in both specialty groups in the labor market, applicants in the II specialty group should, of course, be careful. Here, there is currently more demand in the labor market for finance, marketing, and economics specialties.

Further down the line are specialties such as management and business administration. There is also demand for these specialties. Also, international trade, logistics, and other related specialties are among the promising directions."

Although there is demand for pedagogical specialties, due to the large number of personnel trained in this field, some graduates have difficulty finding jobs:

"As for the III specialty group, the main preference here is given to the law specialty. Translation-oriented specialties are next in line. Especially translation specialties in Chinese, Korean, and Spanish languages, as well as pedagogical specialties, and directions such as state and public relations can be noted.

However, the highest demand in the labor market is still observed for the law specialty. There is also demand for pedagogical specialties, but a large number of personnel are trained in this field. The number of plan places allocated for personnel training is quite large, and currently tens of thousands of people with pedagogical education have faced certain difficulties in finding jobs. Therefore, from the perspective of future prospects, I do not give much preference to pedagogical specialties.

As for translation-oriented specialties, there is a demand for specialists in Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and Armenian languages in the labor market. There is a need for graduates specializing in these fields. Therefore, it would be more appropriate for applicants choosing the III specialty group to prefer these directions."
