IMPORTANT forecast regarding the second master's exam - high results are expected
There are only a few days left until the second master's admission exam. In the first exam, one person scored 96 points, showing the highest result, and most of the participants stated that the exam was difficult.

Now, the main issues that concern the candidates are what the questions will be like in the second stage, whether higher results will be recorded, and whether there will be changes in plan places and passing scores.

Science and education expert Sabuh Abdullayev, in a statement to AzEdu.az, said that participants are expected to show higher results in the second exam:

“Usually, the rules for conducting exams and the format of the questions are the same. However, in some cases, the clearly felt length and difficulty level of the questions cause a loss of time for participants, which affects the overall results. I think that participants will score higher in the second exam.

One of the main reasons for this is that they have already gained some experience in the first exam and are closely familiar with the exam process. At the same time, the preparation period lasted longer, previous mistakes were analyzed, and conclusions were drawn. In addition, participants are psychologically more relaxed and enter the exam with less anxiety. For this reason, compared to the first exam, results are expected to be better in the second stage, and the number of those who score high will increase.”

No significant changes are expected in plan places and passing scores:

“There may only be a certain increase or difference in passing scores. But no significant difference is expected compared to last year. One of the most common mistakes candidates make during the exam is spending too much time on difficult questions. Some participants get stuck on one question for a long time and cannot move on to the next questions. This leads to both a loss of time and a decrease in the overall score.

I recommend that during the exam, they first start with the questions they can answer more easily and fill out the answer sheet on time. Then, by correctly allocating time, they can return to difficult questions.

Participants who use their time correctly gain the opportunity to achieve higher results.”
