The second cycle of test exams for the certification process of educators working in state general education institutions in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has begun.
1315 educators participated in the process held on May 2-3 in German, French, English, Russian languages, as well as Azerbaijani language, Azerbaijani language and literature, informatics, mathematics, chemistry and biology.
Thus, one of those who scored high in the exam is Khatira Ahmadova, an English teacher at Shakkarabad full secondary school in Babek district.
She scored the maximum - 60 points - in the certification held yesterday.
On this occasion, AzEdu.az contacted her to learn her impressions.
"I have been engaged in pedagogical activity for 13 years. I scored 51 points in the certification exam I participated in for the first time. This year I achieved the maximum result in the exam. There were no text-type tasks in the questions in the certification exam I participated in 2021. They were just closed questions. I would even say that they were slightly above the level of applicants.
The first 30 questions were extremely simple and so easy that almost no one could fail. Many would probably confirm this. The next 10 questions were relatively difficult, and the other 10 questions were more thought-provoking. In general, although the questions seemed easy for some teachers and difficult for others, every teacher who works on themselves can achieve good results.
After the exam was announced on January 21, I started joining preparation groups. My goal was simply to achieve a good result.
I was able to achieve the desired result not only because I went for preparation, but also because I worked on myself during these years. I currently also work as a tutor."
Our interlocutor noted that she expected to score high:
"I left home with a high spirit that I would score high and give an interview. I was completely confident in all the questions I answered in my specialty. There were just some thought-provoking questions from methodology. That's why I thought I might have answered one question incorrectly.
When I saw that the number of questions and the number of correct answers on the monitor was 60, I looked twice. I even raised my hand and called the supervisor, asking, "Am I seeing this correctly?" It was a very different and incredibly beautiful feeling.
I am confident that I will achieve the maximum result in the interview stage as well. For this, I will prepare myself again. Because this will be a great achievement. I believe that our teachers who want to achieve high results should receive professional support. In addition, it is important to prepare systematically. Reading 10 questions in 1 day and not opening a book at all for 5 days is not effective at all.
I evaluate the certification exam very positively. Sometimes it happens that if a teacher scores 33-35 points even though they attend preparations, what kind of result would be achieved if they didn't prepare? That's why I also evaluate this step positively. Every teacher who enters the classroom must know something themselves to be able to convey it to the person in front of them."
It should be noted that 99.2 percent participation was recorded during the two days. Among the candidates who participated in the exam, 512 showed results in the range of 51-60 points, and 9 people scored the highest result - 60 points.
