In an incident that occurred in Van, Turkey, one of two children attacked by stray dogs lost his life.
According to information obtained by AzEdu.az from Turkish media, 5-year-old Hamza Özsoy and his 9-year-old cousin A.Ö., who were playing in the yard of their house, were attacked by stray dogs.
As a result of the intervention of those around, the children were rescued and immediately taken to the hospital. Despite the medical interventions provided, it was not possible to save the life of 5-year-old Hamza Özsoy, who was seriously injured.
The condition of the 9-year-old child was reported to be stable and good.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by law enforcement agencies.
