Teachers whose employment contracts were terminated after failing the re-certification exam for educators twice can restore their activities in general education institutions by participating in and succeeding in the Teacher Recruitment (MIQ) competition.
It is interesting, have there been any teachers whose employment contracts were terminated and who restored their activities by participating in MIQ?
In response to a question from AzEdu.az Education Portal on the topic, Eshgi Bagirov, director of the State Agency for Preschool and General Education (MUTDA), noted that the general situation of teachers who failed the certification exam is evaluated individually.
“They are provided with alternative jobs in general education institutions. However, this is not teaching activity."
E. Bagirov added that no one has been re-appointed by passing the Teacher Recruitment competition.
"So far, no one among these teachers has been registered to have resumed their activities at school," the agency director noted.
