"Currently, one of the main points causing anxiety and concern on social networks, especially on the TikTok platform, regarding specialty selection, are claims about plan places. Of course, this is nothing more than disinformation voiced by some “TikTok heroes” and again “experts”.
For example, they comment that “this year plan places will decrease”. How do you know that? What data do you have, and where is it from? Which official source do you refer to when making this claim? There are some among them who are engaged in tutoring - my respect for tutors and teachers is endless, I put that aside - but you don't have access to official sources! Where do you get this data? If you don't know for sure, what is the reason for this false panic, what is your goal?

To say that plan places will decrease for all groups is to unnecessarily alarm people:
"Generally, indicators related to plan places have been on an upward trend for years. If we look at the dynamics of the last few years and the total numbers allocated for plan places, we can easily see this. It is not even convincing that this number would decrease.
Yes, there may be changes depending on the specialties. For example, a certain decrease is expected in the plan places for pedagogical specialties. Why? Because a very serious surplus of candidates has already emerged in the labor market in the pedagogical field. Due to the problem of these candidates finding employment later, there may be a certain reduction in plan places. Because what does a plan place mean? This year's plan place means the workforce, the vacant place four years from now. This is calculated. For example, if a total of 800 plan places are allocated for computer engineering this year, it means that the state will need 800 computer engineers in four years.
Now there are some specialties that are losing their relevance, gradually weakening. Of course, there will be quantitative changes related to them. But to generalize this and say “plan places will decrease for all groups” is to unnecessarily alarm people. This is a tool that is completely purposefully put forward and manipulates sensitivity".
