The deployment of the "GigaChat" neural network by Russia's "Sber" company to the International Space Station (ISS) will be the first use of artificial intelligence in space.
AzEdu.az reports, citing TASS, that Albert Yefimov, Vice President for Research and Innovation at "Sber", provided this information.
According to the information, "GigaChat" will be used by cosmonauts on the ISS for the first time. It will prepare reports and work with databases. This will facilitate the crew's daily work through artificial intelligence.
The launch is planned to take place on November 27.
