In recent months, the Education Development Fund (EDF) had disseminated information about the launch of a new multifunctional card for education workers.
However, teachers have still not been given the TəhsilPlus discount card.
AzEdu.az Education Portal addressed an inquiry to the Education Development Fund (EDF) regarding the issue.
In response to our inquiry, it was stated that work on the multifunctional TəhsilPlus card, intended for education workers by the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education, is currently ongoing:
"Within the framework of the project, more than 450 thousand cards have been ordered. The technical preparation of the cards, including the production and import of card blanks (balvanqaları) into the country, requires a certain amount of time.
Currently, the production and logistics phase of the cards is nearing completion. It is planned to start issuing cards to education workers in the near future.
It should be noted that the process of ordering and presenting cards to employees will be carried out in the same way as with previous salary cards.
Specifically, they will be ordered by the accounting departments of educational institutions, and employees will obtain their cards in the same manner".
