In Azerbaijan, oil and gas revenues are expected to decrease by approximately 10% and stabilize (around 3.3 billion) in 2026-29.
AzEdu.az reports that MP Tahir Mirkişili stated this today during the discussion of the draft law “On the State Budget for 2026” at the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship.
“Ensuring the growth of state budget expenditures through sustainable non-oil and gas revenues is one of the main conditions for maintaining fiscal stability. This also necessitates increasing the technological capacity of budget expenditures. I consider it important to allocate funds to universities for scientific research”, - Tahir Mirkişili said.
