The list of colleges with the most vacant plan places in secondary specialized education institutions has been announced.
According to information obtained by AzEdu.az, this was reported in the 12th issue of the “Abituriyent” journal, which contains scientific and statistical materials on student admissions for 2025 and the results of graduation exams for general education institutions.
According to statistics, a total of 677 out of 8144 plan places in colleges remained vacant. This constitutes 8.31 percent of the total plan places.
The highest percentage of vacant places was recorded at Aghdam Music College. In this college, 70 out of 102 plan places were not filled, and the share of vacant places was 68.63 percent. In second place on the list is the Sumgayit Music College under the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. Here, 51 out of 115 plan places remained vacant, which means 44.35 percent.
The top three is completed by Shusha Humanitarian College. In the college, 37 out of 103 plan places were not filled, and the percentage of vacant places was 35.92.
Next in line is the Sheki State Regional College. 235 plan places were allocated to the college. 57 of them remained vacant, which constitutes 24.26 percent of the total plan places.
Then comes the Music College under the Azerbaijan National Conservatory. 270 plan places were allocated to this college. 64 of the allocated plan places remained vacant (23.70 percent).
The next place on the list is occupied by the Nakhchivan Music College. 148 plan places were allocated to the college, 35 of which were not filled. The specific weight of vacant places was 23.65 percent.
Following this is the Regional College under Ganja State University. 295 plan places were allocated to this educational institution. 54 of the plan places remained vacant, which constitutes 18.31 percent.
Next in line is the Humanitarian College under the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. 236 plan places were allocated to the college. 40 of them remained vacant (16.95 percent).
Continuing the list is the secondary specialized education level of the Baku Choreography Academy. Here, 10 out of 72 plan places remained vacant. This indicator is equal to 13.89 percent.
23 out of 170 plan places allocated to the Social and Agro-Technological College under Lankaran State University remained vacant, which constitutes 13.53 percent.
In the Ismayilli State Humanitarian and Technology College, 20 out of 165 plan places were not filled. The share of vacant places was 12.12 percent.
38 out of 325 plan places allocated to the Shamakhi State Regional College remained vacant (11.69 percent).
In the Astara Pedagogical College, 13 out of 155 plan places remained vacant. This means 8.39 percent.
9 out of 125 plan places allocated to the Masalli State Regional College remained vacant (7.20 percent).
In the Barda State Management and Technology College, 12 out of 185 plan places were not filled (6.49 percent).
In the Aghdash State Humanitarian College, 9 out of 185 plan places remained vacant (4.86 percent).
In the Gazakh State Social-Economic College, 10 out of 210 plan places remained vacant (4.76 percent).
In the Social-Economic College under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, 7 out of 150 plan places were not filled (4.67 percent).
In the Baku Business and Cooperation College, 14 out of 320 plan places remained vacant (4.38 percent).
In the Sabirabad State Social-Economic College, 6 out of 150 plan places remained vacant (4.00 percent).
In the Tovuz State Social-Economic College, 6 out of 150 plan places were also not filled (4.00 percent).
In the Mingachevir Tourism College, 7 out of 180 plan places remained vacant (3.89 percent).
In the Aghjabadi Pedagogical College, 5 out of 135 plan places remained vacant (3.70 percent).
In the Azerbaijan Finance-Economic College under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, 5 out of 135 plan places were not filled (3.70 percent).
In the Shirvan State Economics and Humanitarian College, 8 out of 225 plan places remained vacant (3.56 percent).
In the Goychay State Management and Technology College, 7 out of 225 plan places remained vacant (3.11 percent).
In the Guba State Social-Economic College, 4 out of 140 plan places remained vacant (2.86 percent).
In the Art College under the Azerbaijan State Academy of Arts, 2 out of 77 plan places were not filled (2.60 percent).
In the Economics and Humanitarian College under Baku State University, 5 out of 197 plan places remained vacant (2.54 percent).
In the Nakhchivan State Technical College, 4 out of 169 plan places remained vacant (2.37 percent).
In the Food Industry College under the Azerbaijan State University of Economics, 3 out of 135 plan places were not filled (2.22 percent).
In the Baku State Communication and Transport College under the Azerbaijan Technical University, 6 out of 290 plan places remained vacant (2.07 percent).
In the Construction College under the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, 6 out of 305 plan places remained vacant (1.97 percent).
In the Aghdam State Social-Economic College, 5 out of 255 plan places remained vacant (1.96 percent).
In the Baku Technical College under the Azerbaijan Technical University, 7 out of 380 plan places remained vacant (1.84 percent).
In the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical College under the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, 7 out of 395 plan places remained vacant (1.77 percent).
In the Baku Oil-Energy College under the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, 6 out of 390 plan places remained vacant (1.54 percent).
In the Sumgayit State Technical College under Sumgayit State University, 2 out of 194 plan places remained vacant (1.03 percent).
In the Industry and Technology College under the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, 3 out of 361 plan places remained vacant (0.83 percent).
In the Baku Theological College under the Baku Theological Institute of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, all 15 plan places were filled, no vacant places were recorded.
At the end of the list is the Zagatala State Management and Technology College. All 75 plan places allocated to this college were filled, no vacant plan places remained.
