The list of the best schools in the republic for the Karabakh region has been announced.
According to information obtained by AzEdu.az, this was reported in the 12th issue of the “Abituriyent” journal, which contains scientific and statistical materials on the results of student admissions for 2025 and graduation exams for general education institutions.
In Aghjabadi district, 1526 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 1508 of them participated in the graduation exam. 88 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 19 who scored above 600. This year, City Secondary School No. 4 was noted among the best schools in the district.
In Aghdam district, 1698 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 1691 of them participated in the graduation exam. 114 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 25 who scored above 600. Secondary Schools No. 42 and 88 were included in the list of good schools across the republic. Among the best schools in the district were Secondary Schools No. 34 and 89.
In Barda district, 1519 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 1512 of them participated in the graduation exam. 127 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 31 who scored above 600. Technical School-Lyceum named after Academician Zarifa Aliyeva and City Secondary School No. 8 were included in the list of good schools across the republic. Among the best schools in the district were City Secondary School No. 7 named after F. Muradov and Mollaisalar village Secondary School named after Y. Yusifov.
In Fuzuli district, 1106 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 1096 of them participated in the graduation exam. 77 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 22 who scored above 600. Secondary Schools No. 8 and 46 were included in the list of good schools across the republic. Among the best schools in the district were Horadiz settlement Secondary Schools No. 1 and 3.
In Khojaly district, 79 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and all of them participated in the graduation exam. 3 graduates of the district scored above 500.
In Khojavand district, 131 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and all of them participated in the graduation exam. 12 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 4 who scored above 600.
In Shusha district, 225 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and all of them participated in the graduation exam. 12 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 2 who scored above 600. Shusha City Secondary School No. 7 was included in the list of good schools across the republic.
In Tartar district, 706 students graduated from general education institutions in 2025, and 699 of them participated in the graduation exam. 27 graduates of the district scored above 500, including 9 who scored above 600. This year, there were no educational institutions from the district included in the list of the best schools in the republic.
Thus, in the Karabakh economic region, Barda (127 people), Aghdam (114 people), and Aghjabadi (88 people) ranked in the top three in terms of the number of graduates who scored above 500. Educational institutions from Aghdam, Barda, Fuzuli, and Shusha districts were included in the list of the best schools in the republic. These results indicate high academic performance and the formation of a quality educational environment in a number of schools in the region.
