"No one can guarantee "100% admission" to a student."

These views were expressed by Gunay Akbarova, a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Science and Education, in a statement to AzEdu.az.

Students should not approach language only as an “exam subject” - Gunay Akbarova

She noted that parents and students should be able to distinguish between real educational support and empty promises:

"This is neither ethically correct nor realistic. Exam results depend on numerous factors: the student's preparation level, psychological state, performance on the exam day, etc. Therefore, such promises are actually manipulation built on hope.

The most sensitive point here is the psychological state of parents and applicants. On the eve of the exam, people look for solutions more and sometimes tend to believe any promise that appears as a "last hope". Unfortunately, some individuals take advantage of this sensitivity.

In world practice, there are two main approaches to such cases: first, legal and administrative control. That is, certain responsibility mechanisms are applied against individuals who present themselves as "education experts" and deceive people. The second is enlightenment. Because the strongest protection mechanism is an informed society. Parents and students should know what real educational support is and what an empty promise is."

Risky decisions should not be made about children's future:

"As for the issue of choosing the right expert, there are several simple but very important criteria here. First, does the person have real pedagogical experience? That is, have they seen a classroom, worked with students? Second, what are their results, but are these results real and verifiable? Third, the language they use. A professional teacher would never say "I guarantee", but rather use phrases like "I will support", "we will work to maximize their potential".

As a teacher and a parent, I want to emphasize one thing in particular: risky decisions should not be made about children's future. Every approach that promises success through a shortcut usually brings long-term harm. Real results arise from the unity of systematic preparation, correct direction, and psychological support.

In this matter, it is important for both parents and society to be a little more careful. Because such manipulations harm not only individuals but also the general educational environment."
