Prime Minister Ali Asadov expressed his concern that graduates of some Azerbaijani universities are unable to continue their education in Turkey.
AzEdu.az reports that in this regard, he spoke during his speech at the 12th meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Joint Intergovernmental Commission.
The Prime Minister noted that there are excellent traditions in the field of education between the two countries.
"Thousands of Azerbaijani and Turkish citizens study in higher education institutions of both countries. However, graduates of some Azerbaijani universities, even if they wish to continue their education in Turkey, are unable to do so. The reason is that the diplomas of these universities are not recognized by the Council of Higher Education of Turkey. The Azerbaijani side is hopeful for a positive resolution to this issue," Ali Asadov emphasized.
