A foreign object was removed from a minor patient's stomach in Baku
AzEdu.az reports that this morning, the parents of a minor boy sought medical attention at the polyclinic department of Khazar Medical Center due to discomfort in their child's health. During the examinations conducted, a foreign object (nail) was identified in the child's stomach.
During the endoscopic intervention performed by physician-gastroenterologist Gulnar Aghayeva, the foreign object was safely removed from the stomach. The procedure was successfully completed, and the patient's condition is stable.
Timely medical intervention played an important role in preventing possible complications.
