A fire broke out for an unknown reason in an apartment at the entrance of a 2-story building located on Umman Street in the Fevzi Çakmak neighborhood of Istanbul.
AzEdu.az reports, citing Turkish media, that firefighters, police, and emergency medical teams were immediately dispatched to the scene.
During the fire, 4 children who were removed from the house by residents were taken to the hospital by ambulance.
As a result of the intervention by emergency services, the fire was brought under control and extinguished.
It is reported that 3 of the children hospitalized lost their lives, and the condition of 1 child is serious.
According to information, the children's mother was not at home when the fire broke out.
