The awarding of students selected according to special criteria continues within the framework of the "Brand Student" project, implemented with the joint organization of the AzEdu.az Education Portal and higher education institutions.
Today, “Brand Students” studying here were awarded, with the joint organization of AzEdu.az and Khazar University.
The event was attended by Elshad Eyvazli, founder of AzEdu.az Education Portal and chairman of the Parliamentary Journalists Union, Laman Novruzova, director of AzEdu.az Education Portal, Esmira Aliyeva, correspondent of AzEdu.az Education Portal, Milana Abbasova, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Sciences, Vafa Aslanova, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, and students who were deemed worthy of this status.
The award ceremony began with an opening speech by Elshad Eyvazli, who expressed his gratitude to the university management and staff.
“First and foremost, I sincerely congratulate all our students. I wish that you maintain the name 'brand' at every stage of your lives. Perhaps when you were admitted to university, you thought you had achieved the greatest success. However, as you continue your education, you realize that hard work, perseverance, and determination are essential at every step of life. Now, a new stage awaits you – professional life – and there, too, you must demonstrate all your skills to become a 'brand'.
I would also like to briefly mention the project: this year, nearly 30 higher education institutions have joined it. Our main goal is to introduce the successes, talents, and achievements of young people to society. I wish each of you success and new achievements."
Subsequently, Laman Novruzova was invited to speak. She congratulated the students who were deemed worthy of the “Brand Student” title:
“Being one of the 10 individuals selected from thousands of students signifies both a great sense of pride and a serious responsibility. This is an indicator that your university highly values your perseverance, skills, and achievements during your education. I believe that you will continue to live up to this trust in the future and further enhance your successes.
For 3 years now, the AzEdu.az Education Portal has been successfully implementing this project. While 20 universities participated in the project in its initial years, this time 29 higher education institutions have joined. Our future goal is to unite all universities in Azerbaijan around this initiative. I thank each of you for attending this meeting and wish you new successes in your lives."
Milana Abbasova expressed her gratitude for the efforts made in highlighting successful students:
“I believe that a large number of talented and successful students study at our university; I would even say that they comprise approximately 90% of our student p. I sincerely congratulate all our students and wish that our deserving young people find their place in this project in the coming years. I thank the management and staff of the AzEdu.az Education Portal and wish all our students success in their future endeavors."
Finally, certificates were presented to the “Brand Students” and a commemorative photo was taken.
