The awarding of students selected according to special criteria continues within the framework of the "Brand Student" project, implemented with the joint organization of AzEdu.az Education Portal and higher education institutions.
On November 25, the "Brand Students" studying here were awarded with the joint organization of AzEdu.az and the Academy of the State Customs Committee (DGKA).
The event was attended by Ləman Novruzova, Director of the AzEdu.az Education Portal, Esmira Əliyeva, reporter, Gülnarə Məmmədova, the portal's PR manager, Cəmilə Namazova, Anar Süleymanov, Deputy Heads of the Academy, Azər Seyidov, Head of the Secretariat, İslam Hüseynov, Head of the Department for Organization of Educational and Methodological Work, Əbilxan İsayev, Head of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department, and students who were deemed worthy of this status.
The awarding ceremony began with the speech of Cəmilə Namazova.
She expressed her gratitude to AzEdu.az for the "Brand Student" project, congratulated the youth, and wished them success in their future endeavors:
"Every higher education institution has selected students who reflect its unique quality categories. According to the project, these students are selected as "Brand Students". Just as when any product is manufactured, its quality indicators are combined to prepare it to represent the country, and such a product is called a brand product, similarly, in the education system, "Brand Students" are students who represent that higher education institution in all quality categories. They are awarded because they possess a high level in terms of education, upbringing, skills, and personal qualities.
To be honest, our academy has many students worthy of this project. However, today we are trying to select the best of these students. I believe that these students are capable of representing our country with dignity in various events both in Azerbaijan and abroad. I once again congratulate all our students who have earned the title of "Brand Student" and wish them to successfully implement their future plans and represent Azerbaijan and our academy with dignity."
Subsequently, Ləman Novruzova was given the floor to speak. She congratulated the students who were deemed worthy of the "Brand Student" title:
"Being one of the 10 students selected from hundreds is both a great honor and a serious responsibility. This is a clear indication that the higher education institution where you study highly values your determination, skills, and achievements. Your deserving the title of "Brand Student" is not a coincidence. This is the result of your hard work and high qualities. I believe that in the future, you will live up to this trust and further increase your successes.
For 3 years now, the AzEdu.az Education Portal has been successfully implementing this project. While 20 universities participated in the project in its initial years, this time 29 higher education institutions have joined. Our upcoming goal is to unite all universities in Azerbaijan around this initiative. I thank each of you for participating in this meeting and wish you new successes in your lives."
Anar Süleymanov, Deputy Head of the Academy, spoke about the achievements of each student that met certain criteria and congratulated them:
"This project is not only about presenting certificates and awarding 10 students selected from others, but also about creating opportunities for networking among students selected from various educational institutions. Being one of the 10 students is both a happiness and a great opportunity. I congratulate all our students, and I express my special thanks to you.
In the next stage, each student provided a brief introduction about themselves.
Finally, the "Brand Students" were presented with their certificates and a commemorative photo was taken.
