On the occasion of Novruz and Ramadan holidays, some universities plan to award holiday bonuses to their employees. The amount of holiday payments to be given to employees in universities varies. Each university intends to allocate different amounts of funds to employees according to its capabilities.
AzEdu.az Education Portal conducted a survey among higher education institutions to ascertain the amount of funds allocated to university employees.
In response to our survey, Sumgait State University (SSU) reported that on the occasion of Novruz and Ramadan holidays, all employees working at the university were awarded 400 manats, while employees whose family members or close relatives were martyred received 500 manats.
All employees of Mingachevir State University (MSU) received 5OO manats on the occasion of Novruz and Ramadan holidays.
All employees of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) received 45O manats on the occasion of Novruz and Ramadan holidays.
At Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC) , a holiday bonus equivalent to 40% of one month's salary was provided to all university employees in connection with Novruz and Ramadan holidays.
All employees of Baku Engineering University (BEU) will receive a 300 manat cash bonus on the occasion of the holiday.
All employees of Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts (ASUCA) will receive 200 manats on the occasion of the holiday.
At Lankaran State University (LSU), a bonus of 315 manats was allocated to the faculty staff, and 190 manats to the administrative staff.
Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) plans to award its employees on the occasion of the holiday. The amount has not yet been disclosed.
At Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management (AUTM) , faculty and administrative staff received bonuses on the occasion of Novruz holiday. The amount has not been disclosed due to its confidential nature.
At Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU) , academic and administrative staff are planned to be awarded on the occasion of Novruz and Ramadan holidays. The amount is not yet known.
The Police Academy reported that regular cash bonuses are provided by the ministry and academy leadership in connection with the holidays. The amount was not disclosed.
Azerbaijan University of Technology (AUT) reported that, cash bonuses are given to employees every year on the eve of Novruz holiday.
Employees of Karabakh University (KU) are planned to be awarded on the occasion of the holiday. The amount has not yet been disclosed.
Employees of Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) were awarded on the occasion of the holiday.
However, at Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, no awards are planned in connection with the holidays.
