Seynurə Həsənova, a lecturer at the Department of Ecology of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction (AzUAC), has received an official invitation to Germany to conduct scientific research within the framework of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) program.
Azedu.az was informed by AzUAC that Seynurə Həsənova will conduct scientific research at the Technical University of Munich for three months on the topic of “Phosphorus extraction from organic waste and its application in agriculture.” The aforementioned research holds significant scientific and practical importance in terms of environmental protection, efficient use of natural resources, and the promotion of circular economy principles.
The official invitation letter sent by DAAD noted that Seynurə Həsənova's research activities will make a significant contribution to the scientific projects carried out at the Technical University of Munich. During the research period, she will be provided with access to Germany's advanced scientific infrastructure, modern analytical equipment, and opportunities to utilize innovative research methods.
Intensive work is being carried out at AzUAC with doctoral students and young research scientists under the leadership of Professor Masud Afandiyev, the first Azerbaijani scientist to be awarded the Humboldt Prize, Honored Scientist, and advisor to the rector of Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. This process is considered an important step for the development of science at AzUAC, the integration of young scientists into the international scientific environment, and the further strengthening of the university's global scientific reputation.
