Yesterday, registration for applications to the Education Student Loan Fund ended.
However, one might ask, how many applications has the Fund received?
Regarding this matter, AzEdu.az sent an inquiry to the Education Student Loan Fund.
In response to our inquiry, the Fund stated that the application period for education student loans for the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year has already concluded:
"During this period, to date, 11122 applications for the spring semester have been received by the Fund's electronic portal. Of these applications, education student loan agreements have been formalized for 9900, which indicates that students have widely utilized the loan opportunities.
For the spring semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, of the formalized loan agreements, 6607 are for undergraduate studies, 2539 for master's studies, 685 for secondary specialized education, and 69 are for vocational education level.
It should be noted that of the more than 57000 education student loan agreements concluded to date, more than 20500 pertain only to the 2024/2025 academic year, which constitutes approximately 35 percent of the total indicator.
Although the application period for education student loans has concluded, the processing of received applications is currently ongoing".
