In this regard, naming educational institutions after martyrs is of particular importance in instilling their heroic path in younger generations. The work carried out in this direction in the regions is always in the focus of public attention.

In connection with the topic, AzEdu.az Education Portal sent an inquiry to the Shirvan-Salyan Regional Education Department.
In response to our inquiry, the Department stated that, including those who participated and became martyrs in the I and II Karabakh wars, 117 educational institutions operating under the Regional Department bear the name of a martyr.
