Relay races titled “Sport Starts with Gymnastics” dedicated to June 1 – International Children's Protection Day were held in Baku.
AzEdu.az reports that the press service of the Gymnastics Federation released information on this matter.
A total of 30 children from 3 different orphanages participated in the competition. They gathered under the team names “Şahinlər”, “Birlik”, and “Super balacalar”, demonstrating their agility and team spirit in 5 different game types.
The relay race, held in an entertaining atmosphere, provided children with an interesting experience. Throughout the competition, the children's enthusiasm and energy added a special ambiance to the event. Most importantly, every child was in the spotlight, and their joyful smiles were considered the main gain of the day.
The most beloved guest of the event was Tilli, the official mascot of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation. Tilli had fun with the children, joined their games, and further enhanced the festive excitement.
At the end of the competition, all children were awarded, and the winning team was presented with a cup and special gifts.
It should be noted that the event aimed to provide children with unforgettable moments and to increase their interest in a healthy, active lifestyle.
