Leading experts in Australian science and education have presented the “Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science” for 2025, drawing attention to the shortage of qualified personnel in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) professions in the country.

It was stated that although the demand in technological fields is currently increasing, the number of qualified specialists and teacher training do not meet this demand.

At the same time, teachers working in the instruction of STEM subjects were also highlighted, which indicates the importance of the human factor in the education system.
