“I believe that every teacher should have a deep and systematic understanding of the theory and methodology of the subject they teach. Because if this knowledge is acquired superficially, it is not possible to properly structure a physical education lesson”.
AzEdu.az reports that these thoughts were voiced by Asaf Mehdiyev at a webinar organized by the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARTI) for the purpose of preparing for certification in physical education.
It should be noted that Asaf Mehdiyev has been awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the National Olympic Committee. He is also a finalist of the Baku 2015 European Games and works as a physical education teacher at Secondary School No. 242 in Baku.
