Certificates and diplomas will be issued to graduates in electronic form

“Documents on education will now be formed electronically and shared electronically with relevant institutions”.

AzEdu.az reports that Vusal Khanlarov, Head of the Information Systems Department of the Education System under the Ministry of Science and Education, stated this during his announcement to journalists.

He stated that, in accordance with the adopted decisions, documents on education, as well as certificates issued to citizens who have not completed their education, will have full legal force and will only be submitted in electronic form.

According to Vusal Khanlarov, citizens can download, print, and share these documents from their personal accounts located in the e-government information system if they wish or if a necessity arises. Furthermore, since the documents are approved with an electronic signature, their notarization will also be possible.

The Head of the Department added that as a result of these decisions, starting from the current year, certificates, diplomas, and attestations issued to citizens of Azerbaijan will only be provided electronically:

"Diplomas and attestations will no longer be issued on paper. The E-Government Information System inherently unites all state institutions and has several portals for citizens – MyGov, E-Government Portal, etc. Through these portals and mobile applications, citizens will gain access to their educational documents".
