As we reported, the list of "TOP-150" teachers selected for the "Young Teacher of the Year - 2024" competition, organized jointly by the AzEdu.az Education Portal and the "Azerbaijan Teacher" newspaper, has already been announced to the public.
Currently, work on the second stage of the competition is ongoing. The list of 100 teachers who will qualify for the next stage will be announced on May 19, 2025.
It should be recalled that, at the end of the second stage, the list of "TOP-50" teachers will be presented to the public. Individual interviews will be conducted online with each of the 50 teachers selected to participate in the final stage.
It should be noted that, in the third stage, only 10 teachers will advance to the final. The evaluation of the finalists will be carried out based on three components:
- 10 points based on the interview;
- 20 points based on the results of the online voting,
- and 70 points will be awarded based on the evaluation of a commission consisting of influential science and education figures.
It should be noted that the "Young Teacher of the Year - 2024" project aims to promote the professional activities of young teachers, to introduce their achievements to the wider public, and to highlight positive examples in education.
