As we reported, the list of “TOP-50” teachers in the "Young Teacher of the Year-2024" competition organized among teachers has been announced to the public.
The competition is carried out with the joint organization of the AzEdu.az Education Portal and the "Azerbaijan Teacher" newspaper.
With the teachers included in the "TOP-50" list, individual online meetings will begin from June 2, 2025. Based on the meetings and the opinion of the expert group, 10 teachers will advance to the final stage.
It should be noted that the evaluation of the finalists will be carried out based on three components:
- 10 points for individual online meeting;
- 20 points based on the results of online voting,
- and 70 points will be awarded based on the evaluation of a commission consisting of influential science and education figures.
Let us remind that the purpose of the competition is to introduce and reward the best secondary school teachers who have inspiring life stories and perform useful work.
