An incident that occurred in India's Madhya Pradesh state has garnered attention in foreign media. A 10th-grade student suddenly experienced stomach pain during a board examination and subsequently gave birth.
AzEdu.az reports, citing foreign media, that the student gave birth at the examination center and was immediately provided with medical assistance. Doctors stated that both she and the baby are in good health. During the incident, classes were temporarily suspended, and parents were informed.
Experts state that to prevent such incidents, it is crucial to strengthen sexual education among adolescents and develop support mechanisms in schools.
According to foreign media, this is considered one of the rarest and most notable incidents recorded during education in India.
