As we reported, the admission exam for the master's level (1st attempt) is scheduled to be held on February 15, 2026.
The interesting point is, how will the difficulty level of the exam questions be this year compared to last year? What innovations are expected in the master's program?
Science and education expert Səbuhi Abdullayev gave a statement to AzEdu.az regarding the topic.
Our interviewee noted that significant changes will be made to the format of the tests this year:
“The difficulty level of the exam will remain as in previous years, meaning no particular increase in difficulty is expected. Approximately one-third of the 50 logic questions will be easy, one-third moderate, and one-third relatively difficult.
Significant changes will be made to the format of the tests this year. In previous years, the probability of repeated questions appearing was higher. However, this will be prevented this year. At the same time, new test models will be used. Specifically, new base tests from the State Examination Center will be utilized.
Furthermore, applicants wishing to choose the English section must score at least 2 points out of 5 for the essay writing task. For those wishing to choose the Azerbaijani and Russian sections, no score limit is set for the essay”.
