In Azerbaijan, the number of applicants scoring the maximum, i.e., 300 points, in the graduation exams held at the full secondary education level in recent years shows notable changes. Statistics for various years indicate that while the number of those achieving this result was very low in some periods, a significant increase has been observed in recent years.
According to data obtained by AzEdu.az, the number of applicants who scored 300 points in the graduation exams in 2019 was 4. In 2020, this indicator increased to 5. In 2021 and 2022, the number of those achieving the maximum result was 2.
In 2023, no applicant was able to score 300 points in the graduation exam. The situation changed dramatically in the following year. Thus, in 2024, a record number of 55 people achieved the maximum result. In 2025, 43 applicants scored 300 points.
Thus, a total of 111 applicants managed to score 300 points in the graduation exams during the period of 2019-2025.
As a result, statistics show a significant increase in the number of those achieving maximum results in the last two years compared to previous years. This can be evaluated as an indicator of both changes in the exam model and the improved preparation level of applicants.
