A person suspected of committing a shooting at Brown University in the USA and killing a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology was found dead in New Hampshire.
AzEdu.az, referring to "The Times of Israel", reports that police identified the deceased as Claudio Neves Valente, a 48-year-old Portuguese citizen and student at Brown University. According to preliminary information, he committed suicide.
According to the investigation, Valente is the person who carried out both the shooting at Brown University and the murder of Nuno Loureiro, a professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who was shot dead in his home on December 15. As a result of the shooting at Brown University on December 13, two people died and nine people were injured.
Previously, the FBI had stated that there was no connection between these crimes, but the investigation continues.
