Educational events on behavior rules during emergencies are being held in general education institutions in the capital.
Baku City Education Department (BŞTİ) informed AzEdu.az that the event organized at Baku City Full Secondary School No. 288 was attended by MP Sabina Khasiyeva, Chief Advisor of the Ministry of Science and Education Rovshan Aghayev, Chairman of the YAP Garadagh District Organization Gafar Aliyev, Deputy Head of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), Colonel Mahbuba Mustafayeva, Head of the Fire Prevention Propaganda Department of the State Fire Control Service Emin Mehdiyev, Head of the Extracurricular Activities Organization Sector of the Baku City Education Department Gunay Gurbanova, members of martyr families, participants of the Patriotic War, teachers, students, and other guests.
Speakers discussed the importance of awareness-raising measures against the danger of drowning in water bodies in educational institutions.
Information was also provided on behavior during emergencies, safety rules related to drowning, fire, carbon monoxide, and other topics. Educational discussions were held with students about behavior rules during emergencies.
Documentary films and video clips were shown at the event.
Finally, an exchange of views was held with the event participants, and their questions were answered.
It should be noted that the purpose of the project, organized by the Ministry of Science and Education with the support of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, is to improve knowledge and skills regarding behavior rules during drowning, fire, carbon monoxide poisoning, and other emergencies, and to ensure the continuity of the awareness-raising process in this direction.
